The Summer Share

16 weeks long and will include some Spring vegetables, lots of Summer vegetables & the start of the Fall vegetables. Summer shares start out slim with less choice and as the season progresses shares become heavier with more choices.

 

Vegetables to be included: greens, peas, cucumbers, cabbage, kale, turnip, radish, summer squash, tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, eggplant, beans, lettuce, beets, onions, chard and more.
The season starts the week of June 12, 2018 and ends the week of September 25, 2018.

The Main season will have two share sizes:

  • Mini Share: Shares will include 4-6 different vegetables each week enough for 2 adults, a family of 1 adult with children or 1 veggie loving adult. Also great for a larger family looking to try a CSA out for the first time or a family that also has their own garden at home. $315
  • Full Share: Shares will include 6-8 different vegetables each week enough to feed a family or a vegetable loving couple. $530

Full Share 2016

Week 2: 1 bunch of garlic scapes, 1 napa cabbage, 2 heads of romaine lettuce, 1 lb of lettuce mix, 1 cucumber, 2 lbs of summer squash/zucchini, 1 bunch of parsley,   1/2 lb spicy salad mix, 1 pint of snap peas, 1 quart of snow peas.

Week 8: 1 bunch of carrots, 3 cucumbers, 1 bunch of beets, 1 bunch of scallions, 8 hot peppers (banana & jalapeno), 1 lb of sweet peppers, 1 bunch of kale, 1/2 bunch of swiss chard, 2 lbs of heirloom tomatoes, 1 pint of mixed cherry tomatoes, 1 quart of sun gold cherry tomatoes, 3 lbs of yellow , red & orange tomatoes.

Week 16: 1 bunch of kale, 2 head of romanesco cauliflower, 2 lbs of yellow squash, 2 lb of zucchini, 1 lb of beans, 2 lbs of sweet peppers, 1 lb of eggplant, 8 ears of corn, 1 quart of mixed cherry tomatoes, 1 quart of snack peppers, 1 pint of husk cherries, 5 shallots, 1 winter squash, free choice of hot peppers.

Full Share 2017

Week 2: 1 bunch of salad turnips, 1 bunch of kale, 1 bunch of chard, 2 bunches of  green onions, 2 bags of lettuce mix, 1 bunch of carrots, 1 pint of snap peas, 1 large bunch of garlic scapes.

Week 8: 2 bunches of greens (kale or chard), 5 lbs of summer squash (green and yellow zucchini, patty pan & yellow squash), 1 bunch of green onion(purple or white), 2 garlic, 1 pint of cherry tomatoes, 2 lbs of slicing tomatoes, 2 cabbages (green, savoy or red), 3 cucumbers (green or white), 1½ lbs of green or purple beans.

Week 16: 4 lbs of sweet peppers, 2 pints of cherry tomatoes, 1 pint of husk cherries, 2 bags of baby greens (arugula or tatsoi), 2 bunches of greens (brussel sprout, kale or chard), 2 bunches of herbs (cilantro, thyme or oregano), 1 bunch of radish, 2 garlic, 2 lbs of green or purple beans, 1 pie pumpkin, 2 eggplant, free choice hot peppers.

Mini Share 2016

Week 8: 1 bunch if carrots or beets, 2 cucumbers, 1 bunch of scallions, 4 hot peppers (jalapeno & banana), 1/2 lb of sweet peppers, 1 bunch of kale, 1 lb of heirloom tomatoes, 1 quart of mixed cherry tomatoes, 1.5 lbs of yellow, red & orange tomatoes.

Market Style Pick-Up

Share distribution is set up Market Style. Vegetables will be displayed in bins with signs telling you how much to take based upon which share size you chose. There is some choice involved.
